This is first of many many chocolate chip recipes and this one's is a keeper if you have got less time in your hands! So decadent :)

INGREDIENTS:
15 gms unsalted butter (melted and cooked to room temp)
100gms light brown sugar
67gms castor sugar
1 egg room temp
1tbsp vanilla extract
185gms all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp sea salt
Chopped up dark chocolate or milk chocolate ( can also use chocolate chips)
PROCEDURE:
in a bowl with the melted butter, whisk in the brown and castor sugar till it forms a paste.
In another bowl , weigh out flour, baking soda and salt.
To the butter+ sugar paste, add in the egg + vanilla essence and whisk it till it’s well combined( don’t overmix)
Combine the dry to wet using a spatula and eventually your hands to form a rough cookie ball dough. Add in the chocolate chunks/ chips.
Keep this in the fridge/ chiller till the oven is preheating at 180 C for 15 mins
Bake for 12-15 mins at 180C to get crispy edges and soft centre.
